David who lived in University Place passed from cancer on January 1, 2021.  He was a Geologhist, had served in the Navy from1966 to 1969, worked for the US Geological Survey, was married to Vergia for 57 years, and was passionate as a leader in the Democrartic Party and as a volunteer to improve water quality and salmon recovery in Pierce County.
